SwissDrones has successfully concluded extensive evaluations of the SDO 50 V2, an advanced autonomous helicopter UAV engineered for demanding flight operations in critical environments.

High-Altitude Performance Under Extreme Conditions

During the trials, the SDO 50 V2 achieved flight at an remarkable altitude of 11,500 feet above mean sea level (AMSL) while enduring temperatures as low as -10º Celsius and navigating through gusty winds.

Collaboration with Air Zermatt

In partnership with Air Zermatt, a renowned expert in mountain rescue operations, the test flights were conducted in the picturesque region of zermatt, Switzerland. These trials effectively showcased the UAV’s exceptional capabilities, demonstrating its reliability and performance in high-altitude scenarios.
