The SPEBlox Long single-pair Ethernet communications board delivers data rates of 10Mbps over simple twisted-pair copper cable lengths of up to 1km. The small-footprint board provides a standard 10BASE-T Ethernet connection on a Picoblade header, and a 10BASE-T1L single-pair Ethernet connection on a screw terminal for full cable flexibility.
SPEBlox Long is ideal for long-range applications such as ROV and underwater robotics tethers. A variant of the board is available upon request that allows users to take advantage of Power over Data Line (PoDL) technology.
