This innovative underwater lithium-ion battery system is recognized as the largest of its kind globally, specifically designed for subsea operations.

Technical Specifications and Capabilities

The BSS is composed of twelve 100 kWh battery modules encased in Super Duplex pressure housings, delivering a total capacity of 1 MWh, ideal for supporting offshore oil and gas extraction activities.

Design and Mobility Features

weighing in at 22 tons,this battery system is securely anchored to the seabed with the assistance of ships and Remotely Operated Vehicles (rovs). For land-based transport, it can be easily maneuvered using forklifts or cranes.

The framework of the BSS has received certification from DNV,confirming its compliance with international standards as a Portable Offshore Unit.
