TEKEVER Secures €5 Million contract with Spain’s National Police
TEKEVER has entered into a €5 million agreement with Spain’s Ministry of Interior to provide advanced drone technology to the National Police Air Unit.
Enhancing Surveillance Capabilities
This contract will facilitate the acquisition of several TEKEVER AR3 drone systems, along with essential accessories, high-quality cameras, and access to the innovative ATLAS platform. As part of the deal, TEKEVER will also offer training services for a duration of up to three years, with deliveries scheduled between 2024 and 2025.
Why the AR3 Was Chosen
TEKEVER highlighted that the AR3 was selected due to its exceptional performance in various environmental conditions. Its design features, which include rapid deployment capabilities—operational in less than 15 minutes—minimal logistical requirements, and compatibility with top-tier payloads, make it notably suitable for the surveillance and maritime operations of the National police air Unit.
Advanced Technology Integration
The AR3 systems will come equipped with high-definition gimbals for both day and night operations, a mobile ground control station, and cutting-edge Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) technology. This radar is essential for identifying targets under any weather conditions, day or night.Notably, the SAR can cover over 20,000 square nautical miles in a single mission, making it an invaluable asset for extensive surveillance tasks.
AI-Driven Insights with ATLAS
TEKEVER’s ATLAS platform, which leverages artificial intelligence, played a crucial role in winning this contract. Its capabilities enhance UAV operations through features like first-person view (FPV) video streaming, improved situational awareness for operators, and heatmap tracking for effective flight zone analysis and monitoring.
