TEKEVER’s Initiative to Strengthen Ukraine’s Aerial Defense
TEKEVER is poised to create cutting-edge sensors aimed at the rapid identification of guided aerial bombs (GABs) as part of the “Machine Offensive 2.0” Hackathon, an initiative spearheaded by Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence.
Innovative Solutions for Airborne Threats
The company will focus on Challenge 3 of the Hackathon, where it will engineer radar, thermal, infrared, and acoustic sensors designed to deliver precise real-time data, facilitating prompt and effective countermeasures.
this hackathon invites a diverse group of participants, including engineers, developers, radar and sensor experts, as well as technical students, to devise creative solutions for the detection and mitigation of aerial threats in real-time.
Addressing Multiple Threats
Along with tackling GABs, the “machine Offensive 2.0” Hackathon also challenges participants to find methods to counter fibre-optic controlled drones, which are resistant to radio jamming. This marks the second iteration of the “Machine Offensive” Hackathon, following the inaugural event launched in January.
The Urgency of the situation
GABs have been reported to inflict notable destruction and casualties along Ukraine’s borders, making it a critical focus for the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence.
TEKEVER’s Ongoing Commitment
As the spring of 2022, TEKEVER has been a reliable ally to Ukrainian forces, supplying its AR3 and AR5 unmanned aerial systems (UAS) for extensive intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance operations. These systems have been instrumental in bolstering Ukraine’s capacity to identify and neutralize threats effectively.
