Trakka Systems and DroneShield Launch Innovative Counter-UAS Technology
Trakka Systems has forged a strategic alliance with DroneShield, aiming to enhance offerings in the C4ISR, inspection, UAS, and C-UAS sectors.
Introducing the TIPS-C: A Extensive Solution
This collaboration has birthed the TIPS-C (Trakka Interceptor Package Solution), a product that combines Trakka’s expertise with DroneShield’s advanced technologies.
Designed for mobile deployment, the TIPS-C serves as a discreet early detection and neutralization system against the growing threat of unauthorized UAS activities.

Advanced Technology Integration
DroneShield contributes its DroneSentry-C2 Command and Control software, which offers a unified operational view for drone detection and tracking in the surrounding airspace, along with a comprehensive reporting system.
The TIPS-C leverages Trakka’s trakkacam alongside DroneShield’s RadarZero sensors and DroneOptIDTM optical AI/ML software. This integration results in a powerful drone detection and tracking system, featuring slew-to-cue camera operations for visual threat evaluation and video documentation.
Exceptional Detection Capabilities
With its components working in harmony, the TIPS-C excels at detecting, identifying, and automatically tracking drones of various sizes while effectively filtering out irrelevant moving objects. This unique feature significantly reduces false positives,a common issue with other systems, thereby conserving critical time during potential threats.
Strategic Goals and Demonstration Success
The collaboration between trakka Systems and DroneShield aims to deliver a refined suite of UAS detection and mapping solutions that are low-risk, seamlessly integrated, adaptable, reliable, and cost-effective.
For the inaugural demonstration of the TIPS-C, representatives from Trakka Systems and DroneShield engaged with the Tampa police Department’s Special Operations Division, including the Chief Pilot and five members of the Special Ops Group, along with a Technical Liaison from the FBI, at the Tampa Police Training Facility in Florida.
The trial proved successful, garnering positive feedback from partners and clients regarding its capabilities:
“The TIPS-C is the only solution that has shown the ability to detect, identify, and neutralize threats while also recording UAS incidents for evidence purposes.”
“Every law enforcement agency requires this capability,as the UAS issue is not likely to diminish anytime soon.”
“this system is unparalleled, and I am eager to recommend it to the customs and Border Protection Agency, which could greatly benefit from its unique and effective features.”
