The ProtectUAV™ parachute system for UAVs
skygraphics AG has partnered with UAV Propulsion Tech to distribute the ProtectUAV™ parachute system for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) to the North American market.
Developed in Germany by skygraphics AG, ProtectUAV™ allows UAVs to land without a runway or net recovery system; and also provides protection for the UAV and payload under emergency situations. The technology used in the ProtectUAV™ product is based on skygraphics’ long lasting experience in the development and production of rescue systems for paragliders.
ProtectUAV™ allows the UAV to land safely after conclusion of the mission, or during an out-of-control emergency situation. This solution will protect the UAV and payload from damage as well as minimize the potential damage to people or property on the ground. The system is fully scalable for UAV’s (fixed wing, helicopter and multi-copters) from 20-200 kg Maximum Take-Of Weight, is smaller and lighter than other solutions on the market and is also re-useable (10+ deployments).
