TEKEVER Secures Extended Contract for Maritime Surveillance with UK Home Office
The UK Home Office has renewed its partnership with TEKEVER, granting a three-year contract for the provision of Surveillance-as-a-Service across the English Channel, utilizing the advanced capabilities of its AR5 and AR3 drones.
AR5 Drone: A Key Player in maritime Surveillance
As part of this agreement, TEKEVER will deploy its AR5 system, a sophisticated twin-engine fixed-wing UAV specifically engineered for maritime surveillance operations. This drone boasts an impressive flight duration exceeding 20 hours and is equipped to carry a variety of sensors, including maritime radars, synthetic aperture radars, and both day and night vision cameras, along with AIS and EPIRB receivers.
Real-Time Intelligence for Law Enforcement
The AR5 will play a crucial role in identifying and monitoring perhaps illegal vessels, providing authorities with real-time, precise intelligence to enhance maritime security efforts.
Introducing the Versatile AR3 Drone
In addition to the AR5, TEKEVER will also supply its AR3 drone, wich offers versatile sensor configurations and a flight endurance of up to 16 hours.Its compact logistics requirements make it notably suitable for challenging tactical operations. The AR3 can be deployed in vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) mode or launched via a mobile catapult system,with recovery options including parachute or net systems,complementing the AR5’s capabilities.
