Introducing the SDI 1527: A Cutting-Edge MEMS DC Accelerometer

The SDI 1527 is a compact, tactical-grade MEMS DC accelerometer designed specifically for unmanned systems. It excels in applications that demand remarkable repeatability, minimal noise, and enduring stability across a broad spectrum of temperatures.

This miniature sensor features a hermetically sealed design that integrates a MEMS capacitive sensing element along with a custom integrated circuit (IC) that includes a sense amplifier and a differential output stage. Its construction ensures that it remains largely unaffected by temperature fluctuations and gradients.

each unit undergoes rigorous testing, programming, and calibration by SDI, and is marked with a unique serial number on both the top and bottom surfaces for easy traceability.A detailed calibration report accompanies every device,documenting key metrics such as bias,scale factor,linearity,operating current,and frequency response.
