Introducing the SEMIL-2000 Series: Rugged Computing for Extreme Conditions

Neousys Technology is enhancing its SEMIL lineup with the launch of the SEMIL-2000 series, a robust computing solution designed to withstand the harshest environments. This new series is rated IP69K and supports Intel’s latest 14th, 13th, and 12th Generation LGA1700 processors. Notably, one variant is equipped with the NVIDIA L4 GPU, making it suitable for advanced applications. All models are engineered to function effectively in temperature ranges from -40°C to 70°C, ensuring reliability in extreme conditions.

Durable Design for Challenging Environments

The SEMIL-2000 series boasts a corrosion-resistant chassis made from stainless steel and aluminum, along with IP69K waterproof certification. It adheres to MIL-STD-810H standards for shock and vibration,making it an excellent choice for autonomous vehicles,unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs),and robotic systems that operate in demanding settings. The series is available in two configurations: the SEMIL-2000GC for a 2U 19″ form factor and the SEMIL-2000 for a half-rack option, both designed with Neousys’ specialized thermal management and IP69K-rated features.

Performance Under Pressure

These rugged computers have undergone extensive testing, demonstrating their ability to operate at temperatures up to 70°C under full load with minimal CPU throttling. They can also endure high-pressure water jets at 80°C from various angles, making them ideal for environments that are not only hot but also humid, dusty, and saline. This resilience allows them to function effectively in a wide range of applications, from frigid -40°C conditions to extreme heat.

Empowering edge AI Applications

The SEMIL-2000GC model integrates an NVIDIA L4 GPU, enabling advanced AI inference capabilities. This feature supports autonomous functionalities,object recognition,and motion detection,allowing for real-time decision-making at the edge. Such capabilities are crucial for applications requiring immediate analysis and response.

Designed for Vehicle Integration

Tailored for vehicular use, the SEMIL-2000 series features a DC input range of 8V to 48V, complete with ignition power control and reverse polarity protection. It includes M12 connectors and meets MIL-STD-810H standards for reliable performance in shock and vibration-prone environments. Connectivity options are extensive,featuring seven Ethernet ports—two 10GbE,one GbE,and four 2.5GbE PoE+—all accessible via M12 X-coded connectors. Additionally, the series supports two USB3.2 Gen1 type-C ports with DisplayPort option mode, enhancing versatility for monitor connections and USB3 output through dedicated Neousys cables.
