Introducing the Talon DT-300X: A Revolutionary hybrid UAV
The Talon DT-300X represents an innovative evolution of the DT-300 model, integrating Rotron’s RT150 aero-engine powered by hydrocarbon fuel. This advanced engine not only recharges the onboard electric batteries but also significantly enhances the drone’s operational range and endurance. With the capability to remain airborne for up to 5 hours and cover distances of 400 km, the DT-300X is versatile enough to handle various missions, including extended Intelligence, Surveillance, target Acquisition, and Reconnaissance (ISTAR), logistics support, anti-submarine operations, and deep strike missions.
Seamless Transition to Electric Flight
One of the standout features of the RT150 aero-engine is its easy removal, allowing the DT-300X to be transformed into a fully electric drone without requiring specialized tools or technical expertise. This versatility is complemented by a low logistical footprint, making the aircraft highly portable. The IP67-rated design enables it to be compactly folded into a lightweight flight case, which can be conveniently transported by two individuals in a standard estate vehicle. the DT-300X is adaptable for deployment from urban settings, remote locations,or maritime platforms.
