Autonomous quadcopter for aerial inspections
the Black Swift E2 is a sophisticated quadcopter designed for high-precision, close-range structural and industrial inspections. With full autonomy, the E2 utilizes advanced computer vision and machine learning to ensure accurate, reliable, and safe navigation in intricate environments while providing real-time actionable insights.
The E2’s payload is mounted at the front of the aircraft, allowing operators to maintain a complete sensor field-of-view, even when surveying vertically.
Both the payload and UAV battery can be easily swapped in the field, and the battery’s position can be adjusted based on the aircraft’s load.A standard configuration for the E2 includes an RGB camera, laser positioning system, and radio modem, but it can be tailored to meet specific mission needs, incorporating lidar, thermal, and multispectral cameras, trace gas sensors, radiometers, and more.
The highly portable E2 can be conveniently folded and stored in a custom carrying case, ensuring protection during transport.

The Black Swift S2 is a robust fixed-wing UAV designed for scientific research in extreme atmospheric conditions, including high altitudes and turbulent environments. With a durable airframe and extended flight capabilities, the S2 can autonomously launch, navigate, and land even in challenging mountainous terrains.
The S2 is equipped with a user-amiable field-swappable payload system that houses the sensor suite within the nose cone, ensuring clean and uncontaminated atmospheric measurements. With a standardized power, data, and mechanical interface, payloads can be quickly exchanged in the field without specialized tools. This allows for separate field calibration of payloads and rapid deployment of different sensor suites in successive missions, enhancing the aircraft’s versatility.
