Taurus 400 Series BLDC Motor Controllers: Tailored Solutions for UAVs

The Taurus 400 Series BLDC motor controllers are designed for high-voltage and high-power applications, specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of electric and hybrid electric unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and other unmanned systems.By employing silicon carbide FET technology, these controllers deliver superior power switching performance and can be customized to fit various configurations, including winglets, booms, and motor enclosures.

Advanced Control Features for Optimal Performance

these adaptable controllers incorporate full four-quadrant Field Oriented Control (FOC) and Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM), ensuring extraordinary efficiency. they also provide customizable control loops for parameters such as speed, torque, voltage, and power, along with advanced operational modes. Additionally, the controllers can be overmodulated to enhance the peak power output of the motor drive.

Integration and Regenerative Capabilities

Supporting active regenerative braking, these controllers can be seamlessly integrated into generator systems, forming a robust hybrid electric powertrain. They offer flexibility in operation, functioning either sensorlessly or with feedback from Hall or quadrature sensors.
