Introducing the 600 Series: A Cutting-edge 3U OpenVPX ATR Chassis

The 600 Series represents a state-of-the-art 3U OpenVPX ATR chassis, meticulously engineered to fulfill the demands of high-performance computing in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and other unmanned systems, especially in harsh operational conditions. This robust chassis accommodates six slots for SOSA-aligned and CMOSS payloads, along with two VITA 62 power supplies. it is indeed powered by five advanced Intel Xeon processors, which collectively deliver around 2.688 TFLOPs of computational capability. For applications requiring even greater bandwidth, GPGPU functionality can be integrated through XMC expansion sites, boosting performance to over 5 TFLOPs.

Advanced Connectivity and Future-Proof Design

Each single-board computer (SBC) subsystem is equipped with Ethernet connections for both data and control planes, interfacing with a 10/40 GigE switch that supports layer 2 and 3 management. The alignment with the SOSA profile ensures that SBC upgrades can be seamlessly implemented, enhancing the system’s longevity. The front panel can be tailored to offer a thorough I/O configuration, featuring Gigabit Ethernet connectivity through either fiber or copper options, utilizing 38999 connectors. Designed to endure, the chassis complies with various military standards, including MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, and MIL-S-901D.
