The VPX3U-RTX5000E-SWITCH module is equipped with an NVIDIA® Quadro® Turing™ RTX5000 GPU, designed for high-performance embedded computing (HPEC). This innovative module integrates a PCIe Gen4 switch and a 10Gig Ethernet switch, all within a single slot, optimizing space and efficiency.
By incorporating the RTX5000 GPU into a switch module, system integrators can substantially enhance their system’s processing power without the need for an additional slot. Data transfer to and from the GPU occurs via PCIe, enabling access to the advanced parallel processing and AI inference capabilities of the Turing architecture.
The module features a 10Gig Ethernet switch, facilitating rapid data transfer across the system backplane. Additionally, an optional fiber to PCIe interface is available for enhanced connectivity.
The standard configuration for this module adheres to the SOSA switch profile (SLT3-SWH-6F8U-14.4.15), while also supporting OpenVPX profiles for versatile integration possibilities.
