Introducing the DNx-DMM-261: A Cutting-Edge Multimeter I/O Board from UEI
United Electronic Industries (UEI),a leader in providing advanced data acquisition, testing, and control hardware solutions tailored for aerospace and defence sectors, has unveiled its latest innovation: the DNx-DMM-261,a 6.5 digit digital multimeter (DMM) I/O board. This new addition enhances UEI’s robust and versatile chassis series, making it particularly suitable for rigorous applications such as unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) testing, robotics evaluations, ground system monitoring, armament assessments, and fueling system checks.
Enhanced Features for Demanding Applications
The DNx-DMM-261 board introduces significant advancements compared to traditional DMMs,while maintaining the precision, functionalities, and characteristics of conventional “box” DMMs. It operates effectively in extreme temperatures, ranging from -40 °C to +85 °C. Calibrated in accordance with the ISO 17025 standard, this board is compatible with all UEI chassis and offers a wide array of input ranges: DC voltage from 300 VDC to 100 mVDC,AC voltage from 250 VAC to 125 mVAC,DC current from 2A to 1mA,and AC current from 2A to 1mA. Additionally, it supports two and four-wire resistance measurements ranging from 100 MΩ to 10 Ω, with true RMS capabilities for AC measurements.
Versatile Connectivity and Integration
The DNx-DMM-261 is designed for flexibility, accommodating various cable and screw terminal options,as well as multiple switch boards that facilitate seamless integration into larger multichannel systems. This adaptability makes it an ideal choice for engineers and technicians working in complex testing environments.
Extensive Support and Reliability
Included with the DNx-DMM-261 is the UEIDAQ Framework, which offers a user-amiable API compatible with moast widely-used operating systems and programming languages. As part of UEI’s commitment to quality, the DNx-DMM-261 comes with a 10-year availability guarantee and a standard 3-year hardware warranty, extendable up to 10 years, ensuring long-term reliability and support for users.
