Teh BLACK BIRD system enhances the capabilities of deep-sea submarines by integrating a UAV-launching feature. this innovation enables the submarine to gather crucial real-time information from above the water while maintaining its submerged position for optimal stealth.
This advanced system employs a compact quadcopter drone, which is launched from a cylindrical underwater vehicle. The vehicle transports the drone to the surface and releases it using compressed air. additionally,a floating communications antenna relay is deployed to facilitate data transmission from the drone back to the submarine.
