UEI’s DNx-429-516 series stands out for its robust ARINC 429 communication capabilities, specifically designed for flight-certified applications. This series offers versatile deployment options within Cube, RACKtangle, and FLATRACK chassis configurations. Each model—DNA-429-516, DNF-429-516, and DNR-429-516—features 16 transmit/receive channels along with 8 dedicated receive lines, all meticulously isolated in triads at 350 Vrms, ensuring reliable signal integrity.

Real-Time Diagnostics and Enhanced Features

One of the standout features of the Guardian Series diagnostics is its ability to provide real-time validation of transmitted data through integrated receivers on each transmission channel. This ensures precise line-level accuracy, even in demanding aerospace environments. The channel speeds are adjustable via software, ranging from 12.5 kHz to 100 kHz, while also maintaining backward compatibility with older protocols.

Advanced Functionality for Modern Applications

The DNx-429-516 series is equipped with sophisticated functionalities, including label-specific filtering and transmission scheduling that accommodates up to 256 entries with a resolution of 100 microseconds. Additionally, it supports dynamic prioritization of transmissions and asynchronous messaging, seamlessly integrating with deterministic ARINC-615 protocols. Onboard 256-word FIFOs are designed to maintain data integrity, even under maximum bandwidth conditions.

Seamless Integration and Compatibility

This series is fully compatible with UEI’s UEIPAC ecosystem and various software tools, such as LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink, QNX, and VxWorks. The DNx-429-516 series is meticulously optimized for real-time avionics testing, simulation, and deployment tasks, making it suitable for both manned and unmanned aerial systems.
