The HERMES C3 (Command, Control, and Communications) system offers seamless connectivity to ecoSUB Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) through various channels, including Wi-Fi, 3G/4G cellular networks, and Iridium SATCOM. This versatility empowers users to manage their AUVs from virtually any location around the globe.
Designed for portability, the unit is housed in a robust, watertight casing and features an internal rechargeable battery. It interfaces with a control PC that operates the ecoSUB GUI software.Additionally, by incorporating acoustic telemetry, the system can function as a Long Baseline (LBL) surface node, significantly improving vehicle navigation and positioning accuracy.
