RF & Microwave Power Amplifiers (PA)
Durable RF Power Amplifiers for UAV Applications
Our robust solid-state RF power amplifiers are perfectly suited for unmanned vehicle applications, such as UAV data links. We utilize the most suitable FET technology for each application, optimizing linearity while minimizing DC power consumption and heat generation.
All our power amplifiers feature advanced DC sections with protections against over, under, and reverse voltage conditions. Additionally, we offer modules equipped with our versatile DC Supply (VDSTM) technology, which eliminates the need for external DC converters, enhancing overall system efficiency.
Moreover, we have integrated monitoring and control sections powered by microprocessors, FPGAs, and CPLD ICs. These provide functionalities such as RF power measurement, temperature monitoring, and DC monitoring at the device level, along with various configurable alarms and warnings tailored to meet customer specifications.
Our RF Amplifiers operate at frequencies up to 18 GHz, with bandwidths ranging from 200-800 MHz for standard models and up to 12000 MHz for broadband applications. Custom-modified versions of these COTS amplifiers are also available upon request.

Bi-Directional Amplifiers (BDA)
Low-Noise Bi-Directional RF Amplifiers for UAV Data Links

We select the most suitable FET technology (GaN, GaAs, or LDMOS) based on the customer’s application, optimizing linearity while minimizing DC power consumption to enhance mission longevity.
Models operate within frequency bands from 20 MHz to 8.5 GHz. Typical RF power outputs for the transmit section include 12/25 Watts for BPSK, 9/12 Watts for QPSK, 8 Watts for 16 QAM, and 5 Watts for 64 QAM. The receive section features a low-noise amplifier with 11 dB of gain and a typical noise figure of less than 2.5 dB.
