Unlocking Potential: The 800 Series CMOSS MOSA System Explained

Introducing the 800 Series: A Cutting-Edge 3U ATR Chassis

The 800 Series represents a state-of-the-art 3U ATR chassis, meticulously crafted for payloads aligned with the Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA). this chassis is particularly well-suited for Modular Open Sensor Systems (CMOSS) in UAV C4ISR applications, encompassing radar, signals intelligence (SIGINT), and electronic warfare functionalities. With the capacity to accommodate 8 payload slots and 2 VITA 62 power supply units, along with a removable solid-state drive bay, it supports high-performance Intel Xeon processors and NVIDIA GPGPUs, delivering an impressive computational capability of nearly 10 TFLOPs to meet demanding mission-critical and high-bandwidth needs.

Advanced Connectivity and Robust Design

Each FPGA subsystem is equipped with backplane Ethernet connections linked to a 40 Gigabit Ethernet switch, offering both copper and optical input/output options via customizable 38999 connectors on the front panel. A fully meshed network capable of 40 Gigabits per second is established between each VPX card, ensuring seamless data transfer. The chassis is engineered to comply with various military standards, including MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, and MIL-S-901D, making it suitable for rugged environments.
