Unlocking Precision: The Gaps M5 USBL System

The Gaps M5 is an advanced medium-frequency ultra-short baseline (USBL) positioning system designed for precise location, tracking, and positioning of underwater assets across a range of depths, from ultra-shallow to medium water environments. This system integrates USBL technology with a heading and attitude sensor utilizing Exail’s FOG technology.Notably, Gaps M5 is free from export limitations and offers a more compact and lightweight alternative to its predecessor, Gaps, which is recognized as the most lightweight high-performance USBL system available today.

Key Features

  • 200° aperture for effective above-horizontal tracking.
  • No export limitations, enhancing accessibility.
  • Durable True North finding sensor for reliable orientation.
  • Compatible with dynamic positioning (DP) systems, supporting both LBL and USBL methods.
  • Works seamlessly with third-party transponders.
  • Facilitates acoustic interaction for telemetry purposes.
  • Includes 3D display software (Delph Roadmap) for enhanced visualization.
