Calian’s helical antennas are engineered for applications where size, weight, and power (SWaP) are critical, delivering high performance for UAVs. The precision-tuned helical antenna element provides outstanding gain and axial ratio across all elevation and azimuth angles, substantially reducing multipath interference. Low-noise amplifiers (LNAs) with integrated low-loss pre-filters ensure superior signal-to-noise ratios and effective interference mitigation.

Due to their lightweight design and ability to function without a ground plane, calian’s helical antennas are perfect for UAVs, unmanned systems, precise point positioning (PPP), and real-time kinematic (RTK) applications.

Calian’s single-band (L1/G1/E1/B1) Accutenna anti-jamming technology alters the antenna’s radiation pattern to block jamming signals that arrive from an elevation angle of +15 to -10 degrees above and below the horizon. Additionally, the antenna gain is slightly enhanced at higher elevation angles.
These robust anti-jamming antennas effectively mitigate ground-based or near-ground jamming signals that can overwhelm the antenna’s Low Noise Amplifier (LNA), preventing legitimate satellite signals from reaching the GNSS receiver.

eXtended Filtering Technology

Our eXtended Filtering (XF) technology is engineered to deliver the cleanest GNSS and L-band correction signals, effectively reducing interference from sources like LTE, 5G, Iridium, Globalstar, and Inmarsat. eXtended Filter GNSS Antenna
Calian’s eXtended Filter GNSS antennas are equipped with high-linearity front-end amplifiers and additional pre-filters for each frequency band directly at the antenna element feed, integrated with the diplexer for dual/triple-band antennas and with supplementary in-line filters.
The XF filter technology is currently available in the TW3000 series and will soon be incorporated into all of Calian’s product lines.
