The WOLF-3570 I/O module, known as the XMC-AD2000E-FGX2-IO,merges advanced video capture capabilities with robust onboard computing power. It features NVIDIA’s RTX™ A2000 Ada embedded GPU alongside WOLF’s innovative Frame Grabber eXtreme (FGX2) technology.
Tailored for unmanned systems and critical ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) missions, this module accommodates up to four simultaneous SDI inputs and outputs. It also includes dual outputs for DisplayPort, HDMI, or DVI, with optional inputs for CVBS and analog audio.Video streams can be processed through the FGX2 for format conversion before being sent to the Ada GPU for tasks such as AI inference, sensor processing, or encoding, with outputs available in both digital and analog formats.
The NVIDIA Ada architecture enhances high-performance embedded computing (HPEC) and AI processing through a compact array of GPU cores, manufactured using TSMC’s 4N technology. With 3072 CUDA cores, 96 fourth-generation Tensor cores, and 24 third-generation Ray Tracing cores, the RTX A2000 delivers remarkable performance per watt, surpassing earlier architectures at comparable power levels, which can be adjusted between 30W and 50W.
The FGX2 subsystem facilitates swift data transfer and format conversion, while NVIDIA GPUDirect boosts system efficiency by allowing direct access to GPU memory. WOLF’s proven thermal management design guarantees optimal performance in size, weight, and power (SWaP) constrained environments.
