Chess Dynamics has unveiled a state-of-the-art electro-optical surveillance system (EOSS) that incorporates Vision4ce’s Vision Tracking CHARM modules, along with an optional AI-driven target classification feature.
This advanced digital EOSS is designed to enhance long-range surveillance and situational awareness across maritime, coastal, and border settings. It offers improved accuracy, versatility, and integration capabilities, making it adaptable for various missions, especially in conjunction with Chess’ Sea Eagle naval and Hawkeye land systems.
The digital architecture of Chess Dynamics’ EOSS allows for seamless integration with a broader array of sensors on the host vessel. This modular design ensures optimal operational availability and empowers users to customize the system according to diverse mission requirements, thereby expanding its sensing capabilities.
David eldridge, Sales Director at Chess Dynamics, remarked, “The complexity of surveillance demands from security providers—whether for land, border, coastal, or maritime applications—continues to escalate. Effective persistent surveillance necessitates high-quality sensors that can deliver significant data volumes, enabling operators to detect, identify, and neutralize threats efficiently. As operational environments evolve, our clients require greater flexibility and the ability to tailor thier capabilities to meet specific needs. Our new digital EOSS addresses thes challenges comprehensively.”

The upgraded sensors in this system deliver superior quality and precision, enabling operators to more effectively detect and identify potential threats. The next-generation technology is built on a fully digital framework, facilitating secure network access and enhancing integration with other systems and sensors. This advancement significantly enriches the data available to operators, thereby improving situational awareness.
“While advancements in security technology will result in an influx of data, the next challenge for operators is to leverage that data effectively,” David Eldridge added. “Our capabilities are evolving to become more intelligent, thereby alleviating the cognitive load on operators. As specialists, we not only comprehend the operational landscape but also collaborate with system integrators to fine-tune technology to address specific security needs. By partnering in this manner, we can assist them in transforming data into actionable insights, enhancing overall response times.”
Chess’ latest surveillance solution features integrated video tracking and target classification powered by Vision4ce’s CHARM modules and AI technology. this significantly reduces the operational workload by filtering information and only alerting operators to genuine risks or threats.
Chess Dynamics will showcase its next-generation electro-optical surveillance capabilities at Euronaval (stand F94) and the Indo Defense expo & Forum (stand A215) this Autumn.
