Ainstein, a leading innovator in radar sensing technology, has reached a important production achievement with the rollout of its 20,000th US-D1 radar altimeter unit.
As its commercialization in 2017, the US-D1 has been implemented in over 40 nations, establishing itself as the benchmark for short-range radar altimeters. It delivers precise altitude readings, unaffected by weather, lighting, or environmental factors.
To commemorate this achievement, Ainstein is implementing a price reduction. The increased production volume has allowed the company to partner with supply chain stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and lower component costs. Starting April 22nd, the price of the US-D1 will be adjusted to $499 per unit, down from the previous $599.
This pricing strategy reflects Ainstein’s commitment to making advanced radar technology accessible to all customers, irrespective of fluctuating economic circumstances.
“We are thrilled to extend these savings to our customers. Each unit will maintain the high standards of quality, reliability, and precision that our clients expect from us,” stated maggie Williams,Ainstein’s Chief Strategy Officer.
By passing on cost reductions,Ainstein aims to cultivate enduring partnerships and shared success. “We believe that by providing our customers with affordable access to our state-of-the-art radar technology, we can support their growth and success,” Williams added. “Our customers are central to our mission, and their satisfaction is our utmost priority.”
The US-D1 radar altimeter is compact and lightweight, making it an ideal choice for drone applications. Its plug-and-play design ensures ease of use without the need for calibration. It accurately measures altitudes up to 50 meters, guaranteeing reliable performance in all weather conditions and at any time of day or night.
