Vantage Robotics Secures Contract for Vesper sUAS with U.S. Army

Vantage Robotics,a leader in aerial autonomous technology,has been awarded a significant contract by the U.S. Army for it’s Vesper Small Unmanned Aerial System (sUAS) as part of the Common Hardware Systems-6 (CHS) initiative.

Understanding the Common Hardware Systems-6 Contract

The CHS is a comprehensive 10-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract designed too facilitate the swift acquisition of both standard and innovative Commercial off-the-Shelf (COTS) hardware and services for Army and Joint organizations, operational units, and various government entities.

CEO’s Statement on the Partnership

Tobin Fisher,the CEO of Vantage Robotics,expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration,stating,“We take pride in supporting the U.S. Army, our military personnel, and an increasing number of law enforcement and public safety organizations. The Common Hardware System-6 contract offers a streamlined procurement process for federal users, which is incredibly exciting for us.

Features of the Vesper sUAS

The Vesper sUAS is engineered to provide operators with enhanced flight duration, superior performance in low-light conditions, minimal counter-detection capabilities, and reduced environmental impact, all within a robust and lightweight design.

Innovative Design and Modularity

This portable system, which can be conveniently carried in a backpack, employs a modular and open system design. It features magnetically attached, interchangeable propellers, motor and rotor assemblies, and batteries tailored for various mission requirements.

User-Friendly Interface and Cost-Effective Solutions

The Vesper sUAS is compatible with multiple user interface applications, including the ATAK UAS Tool. Vantage Robotics maintains a focus on hardware development, ensuring that users do not incur ongoing software fees.
