VectorNav Technologies Unveils Innovative Tactical Embedded Inertial Systems
VectorNav Technologies has launched its latest Tactical Embedded series of inertial systems, which incorporate a tactical-grade Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) alongside multi-band GNSS-aided Inertial Navigation Systems (INS). Weighing a mere 15 grams, these new Tactical Embedded devices offer milliradian-level attitude precision adn centimeter-accurate positioning capabilities.
Enhanced Performance for Diverse Applications
The Tactical Embedded series boasts an notable size-to-performance ratio, making it ideal for reducing costs across various pointing and geo-referencing applications. These systems are particularly beneficial for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and other unmanned systems, including gimballed Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) payloads, SATCOM technologies, and high-accuracy LiDAR mapping and photogrammetry. Additionally, the Tactical Embedded sensors support external SAASM GPS, catering to defense applications in ISR, electronic warfare, munitions, and UAV navigation.
