VectorNav Unveils Cutting-Edge Tactical Series Inertial Navigation Systems!

VectorNav Technologies has introduced a next generation family of high-performance Inertial Navigation Systems (INS).

Introducing the Tactical Series: advanced Inertial Navigation Systems

VectorNav Technologies has unveiled a cutting-edge lineup of high-performance Inertial Navigation Systems (INS). This innovative ‘Tactical Series’ features the VN-110 Inertial Measurement Unit and Attitude Heading Reference System (IMU/AHRS), the VN-210 GPS-Aided INS (GPS/INS), and the VN-310 Dual Antenna GPS/INS, all built on a shared tactical-grade proprietary MEMS inertial sensing core.

Leveraging VectorNav’s unparalleled expertise in navigation algorithms and extensive experience in integrating its Industrial Series products across various airborne, marine, and terrestrial platforms, the Tactical Series delivers the comprehensive functionality and features that have established the Industrial Series as the preferred choice for integrators of SWaP-C (size, weight, power, and cost) constrained systems, both manned and unmanned.

Innovative Design and Engineering

Engineered at VectorNav’s dallas, TX headquarters, the Tactical Series utilizes the latest advancements in solid-state MEMS technology. It features a 3-axis gyro with an in-run bias stability of less than 1˚/hr, resulting in an notable attitude accuracy of 1 to 2 mrad. Furthermore, the Tactical Series enclosure meets DO-160G standards and is rated IP68, making it suitable for deployment in challenging and extreme environments.
