Volatus Aerospace has reached a deal to acquire two companies based in the UK, UAVHub adn The Drone Mentor, which are recognized leaders in online video-based drone training and certification.
This strategic move aligns with Volatus’s goals to broaden its footprint in the drone training sector and offer complete solutions to its clientele, thereby fostering enduring relationships.
Established in 2014, UAVHub stands as the top-rated drone training and certification provider in the UK. The company caters to the regulated drone pilot market by offering online training approved by the UK civil Aviation Authority and has created proprietary tools that simplify compliance with regulations in this rapidly changing industry.
The Drone Mentor focuses on non-regulatory training and support for the uncrewed aerial vehicle sector, promoting personal, professional, and business growth—the ‘second phase’ of the ‘drone journey’ that is often overlooked by novice pilots. This approach ensures individual success and contributes to the sustainability of the industry as a whole.

The acquisition of UAVHub and The Drone Mentor is expected to finalize on January 2nd, 2024. According to the agreement, the total acquisition cost is set at £150,000.
