Weatherproof Quadcopter with AI Technology to Debut at Farnborough Airshow 2024

Beyond Vision's BVQ418 is designed to meet the demanding needs of modern defense operations with a compact size, a payload capacity of 7kg, and a 90 minute flight time

Beyond Vision will unveil the company’s latest quadcopter drone model, BVQ418, at Farnborough International Airshow 2024. The event will also be live-streamed from Farnborough on July 23rd at 13:30–14:00 CET. Watch it here >>

The BVQ418, integrating over 20 sensors (cameras, lidars, radars, interties), AI, and multiple comms technologies, has been under development for the last 3 years.

One the BVQ418’s standout features is its compact size, which enhances portability—crucial for transporting equipment in challenging environments. Despite its small form factor, BVQ418 does not compromise on performance. It is designed to be easily transported and deployed even in constrained and remote locations.

The BVQ418 quadcopter is also weatherproof, ensuring high reliability and operational readiness in diverse and harsh weather conditions. This feature makes it an indispensable tool for missions requiring consistent performance regardless of the environment.

BVQ418 boasts an impressive payload capacity of up to 7kg and has a flight time of over 90 minutes. This significant capability allows the drone to carry a variety of sensors, equipment, and supplies, enhancing its versatility for a wide range of defense applications. Whether it’s for surveillance, reconnaissance, or tactical drops, BVQ418’s ability to handle multiple payloads maximizes its operational flexibility and effectiveness.

AI-driven drones powered by military 5G connectivity have the potential to revolutionize defense operations. BVQ418 exemplifies this evolution, offering a glimpse into the future of warfare. As technology advances, drones like BVQ418 will play a more prominent role in military strategies, providing unique capabilities to safeguard national security and respond swiftly to evolving threats.

The new drone will be showcased at AED stand 1160, Hall 1. For those who are unable to attend, the unveiling will be live streamed on 23rd July 2024 from 13:30–14:00 CET.
