Z3 Technology has unveiled a cutting-edge video encoding system tailored for dual IP video cameras, capable of delivering full HD video quality. This innovative solution, the FV2K-DCK-10, is specifically engineered for both visible and infrared surveillance applications, and also for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) platforms, ensuring real-time streaming wiht advanced compression techniques and minimal bandwidth usage.
“The adaptable architecture of the FV2K-DCK-10 enables users to connect two cameras while relying on a single video encoder system. This approach substantially reduces both costs and space requirements compared to deploying two individual encoders when enhancing security infrastructures,” stated Aaron caldwell, CEO of Z3 Technology.
The FV2K-DCK-10 accommodates two visible and/or infrared cameras, each supporting resolutions up to 1080p60. Users can independently choose between H.265 and H.264 compression formats for each camera. This versatile design supports both symmetrical and asymmetrical configurations, making it suitable for PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) setups or dual fixed camera arrangements. The encoder can concurrently stream and record in H.265 and H.264 formats from one full HD visible camera alongside one SD resolution IR camera.
Camera interface options are extensive, including LVDS, NTSC/PAL, Cameralink, parallel CMOS, BT656, and BT1120. additionally, the device features on-board interfaces such as RS-485, RS-232, Ethernet (with Power over Ethernet capabilities), HDMI output, and the ability to record onto USB or Micro-SD card storage. the video encoder also supports remote serial control protocols for a variety of cameras, including models from Sony VISCA, DRS, FLIR, and others, all accessible over the IP network.
